Contact Lenses? Always use the web!

You’re savvy enough to know not to buy contacts from your eyedoc. That’s a great first step. What’s next? Never use the phone to order. Why? There are two VERY PERSUASIVE reasons:

  1. Enter your own prescription into your profile: Who’s going to care more to get it right? You or the drone on the other end of the phone? Enter it. Check it. Double-secret check it again. When you’re convinced that you’ve transcribed the eyedoc’s chicken scratch properly, you’re good to go.
  2. Discounts and promotions: You’re never going to get the best deal by calling. First off, it’s way more expensive to have someone take your order. Secondly, they’ve already got you. Giving you the discount that the other 100 people are using as they order online isn’t in their best interest.

Invariably, the problem orders I’ve had, had someone in the middle make a mistake. Remove the middle-man. Order online!

Etc.
