There are dozens of brands and hundreds of models of contact lenses. Chances are you don’t need to know a thing about any of them apart from the ones floating about on your eye right now (or soaking in solution if it’s very late at night when you’re reading this). Your eye doctor or lens fitter has told you what you should be wearing and it’s certainly a good place to begin.
We’re only starting out covering a half-dozen varieties of lenses. Realistically, all of the retailers carry pretty much the full gamut of lenses and appear to price them consistent to the one’s listed on the home page. For instance, plan on 1-800-Contacts charging 40% to 50% more than Lens.com unless there is a rebate — if you’re into that — the rest are somewhere in the middle.
All of this changes when specials are figured in, so bookmark your brand and check back often for rebates, discounts and specials. Ordering a number of boxes (four or more) at a time is one way to save big.

I’ve never used contacts, is there any guides as to how to get measured etc so I can order them for cheap online? I’ve ordered my glasses since last year using glassyeyes recommended sites… but now I need contacts for performing! Any help in this category? A how-to? Etc?
